Agia Anna’s church is a 13th century construction, that in its original state was single-aisled, and on the inside it was cruciform with a dome. Later, it sustained influences from Gothic architecture. The church was built with stones from the Paralimni area.
For some reason the church is called “the church of Our Lady”, but the people wants it to be Agia Anna’s church. The most possible scenario is that the first small church that was built, was dedicated to Our Lady, which changed after its extension to its today’s state.
Today the Church functions as a Christian Museum.
