Artists from all of the continents of the planet have united and worked to create a sculpture park. They chose an area that has rare beauty to place their creations, east of Agia Napa, a few metres from the sea.
Dozens of theme sculptures of big dimensions “take us” to their creators' countries. The dimensions of the creations “match” perfectly with the size of the rocks that are also found in the area, resulting to the ensemble giving the impression of a “live” park.
In order to be able to walk and observe the sculptures one by one, you will need many hours. It is worth it because each one has a story to “tell”. It is visited by thousands of people of all ages during the whole day.
We would like to thank the Municipality of Agia Napa for the cultural work that was executed with a lot of time and labour. New sculptures are constantly added to the park since artists from all over the world express their intention to exhibit their works. This is something that will make us visit it again and again.
The Sculpture Park is followed by the “Park of mediterranean plants, cacutses and succulent plants”, in which you can see and study hundreds of kinds of plants.
The two theme parks could be a reason for a visit and study by our students through organised school trips. The International Sculpture Park of Agia Napa is probably the best gift the local Municipality could offer its hundreds of thousands of visitors.
We hope that the Department of Antiquities will not “discover” it and impose an entrance fee. For the time being there is no entrance fee.
