The church of Agios Mamas in Alaminos is a 1992 construction and is found on the left side of the road, after the bridge of the kseropotamos river, at the entrance of the village. It has a volume capacity of 500 people, in contrast to the older church of Agios Mamas that still exists in the village, that could only receive 50 believers. In terms of architecture it has a Basilica style and on the outside it is painted in white.
On the opposite side of the Church you can find the offices of the community council, while on the right, one of the two monuments in honour of the fallen young men of the National Guard is found.
