The Holy Church of Agios Nektarios in Tersefanou is found in the same place with the old church of the village that is dedicated to Agia Marina. The two churches are built in the central square, where the offices of the community council and the Popular organisations of Tersefanou are found.
It is a construction dated in 1983 and a product of necessity since the number of the settlers in the village after 1974, with the coming of many refugees, was increased by a lot and the Agia Marina Church was not big enough to receive all of them for Mass.
Attention is drawn on the “strange” belfry with the three bells. We have not seen another one similar to this.
On the surroundings there are many old jars as well as column capitals that are ruins from some old temple that existed in the area, and a well with an “alakati” (wheels that help to extract water from a well) that leans on two ancient columns.
