In the village of Oroklini, in the district of Larnaca is where the Church dedicated to Archangel Michael is found. It is a construction dated in the 17th century. The small Church was the main church of the settlers of the community, until another, bigger one was built.
It is stone built, in Byzantine style and is found on the highest point of the old village. The narthex forms a three-sided semi-circle and on the southern side there is a door, something which is not found very often.
The southern entrance is elaborately carved and above it, a pointed, stone arch is found. The western entrance is impressive with the huge, stone arch. The belfry is an extension of the main Church and it is found on the eastern corner of the southern wall.
Churches of this kind are truly monuments of architecture and of cultural heritage. This has been recognised by the local ecclesiastical and civil authorities and this can be easily seen from the condition of the Church itself as well as the area surrounding it.
