Travelling from Larnaca, in a distance of 35 kilometres, you will find yourselves in a village known in Cyprus as well as abroad. Lefkara. It is a village in the highlands of Larnaka and it is divided into two. Pano and Kato Lefkara.
Each one has its own administrative structures. Kato Lefkara is found first, on the way to Skarinou. Since it is built on the mountain’s slope, it offers an unobstructed view on the plain’s villages.
In the village itself you can only circulate by foot. The streets are very narrow. There is no fear of getting lost by wandering in the village, because all the streets end up at the same point ; the square where you can leave your car and have a good walk in the green little streets.
Do not neglect to visit the church and the old aqueduct which still gives water to its taps. The prices of the products are really low and they are the same for locals and guests.
