It is a very beautiful Holy Church, following Byzantine style, dedicated to Panagia Eleousa, and is found northwest of the village of Tersefanou.
It is built on a beautiful, typically Cypriot landscape, and in a location where you can get a view without obstacles covering many kilometres that reaches until the shores of the island. It provides the worshipper with the appropriate environment for concentration and deliberation.
In terms of architecture, it follows a Byzantine style, it is cruciform and has a dome. Instead of a belfry, it has a bell that gives it a different tone.
In the same location, there was an old Church dating in the 12th century, that was demolished for unknown reasons. A settler of the village, that was plowing his fields, fell on a big pile of stones. When searching closely, he found the ruins of the old Church. With the help of the rest of the residents of Tersefanou, they built the new Church in a very short period of time using the same stones, dedicating it to Panagia Eleousa.
