In the abandoned settlement of Parsata found in the periphery of the village of Ora in the mountain area of Larnaca, there is a small Church dedicated to Panagia Odigitria (Our Lady the Guide).
It is a single aisled Basilica with a gabled, vaulted roof. It is built out of concrete. The two internal arches are very interesting as they “divide” the small Church and have bases of support for the ceiling. On the north and south walls there are another two arches whose bases were probably used as seats.
Everything in it are donations of believers. From the construction until the pews and the reredos and the few icons. There are empty spaces in the reredos that were probably never filled.
It is found built on the edge of a hill dominating the valley of the river of Vasilikos, among the small amount of perennial olive and carob trees.
