Psematismenos is located on the west of the city of Larnaca and about a kilometre south of the Nicosia-Limassol motorway.
The village’s centre, that is built on the hill’s slope, is stone built. Its narrow streets that go up and down the hill are also paved. All the houses have balconies and they all follow the same architectural style.
The visitor may walk along the village’s streets, without being worried, since the cars cannot pass through most streets.
The village’s church is dedicated to Agia Marina, which is found on its exit on the way to Zygi.
In Psematismenos you will find hundreds of perennial olive trees, some of which are included in the “Natural vegetation park”. A park where the olive trees get the care they need to survive. If only you see these trees closely will you understand the park’s value.
