The small chapel dedicated to the Saint and Martyr Varvara, is found at a distance of only 100 metres before the ancient Amathounta’s necropolis, on the right side of the old road that lead to Limassol from the Nicosia, Larnaca and Ammochostos districts.
In olden days, the church area, was the gathering point of the fishermen, as well as a stop for the travellers, this is why there were many restaurants in the area.
Today the church is chosen by many people for marriages as well as christenings.
