The church of the ruined and abandoned village of Trozena in the district of Limassol, is the only construction left in perfect condition among all the houses and sheds of the village and it is dedicated to Agios Georgios.
It is a Church built in 1885 and it is a Basilica with a gabled roof with tiles. It is stone built and it has 3 internal arches on the wall of the south side and 3 on the north. The belfry is small and it is incorporated in the construction.
Despite the fact that it is found far away from other villages, it receives many worshippers during the whole day. It is permanently open in order to be able to receive its visitors.
From the location where the Church is built, on the edge of a plateau, the visitor may observe the whole valley of Trozena that was created by the river and it exceeds 5 kilometres of area.
There is a tap with potable water in the yard, found under the shade of the big trees.
