Agios Theodoros Pitsilias or Agios Theodoros Agrou (in the old days it used to be also called Agioi Theodoroi) is found a few kilometres away from the main village of Agros in Pitsilia.
It is built on the south slope of the “Papoutsa” peak, and it is a good example of human will for survival since despite the steep slope, the settlers succeeded to transform barren land to green with the help of terraces.
They built the village on the peaks of hills and their slopes were transformed to fields with a lot of work. From some viewpoints, the visitor can observe and admire the landscape where the village is built.
The visitor can have a wonderful time at Agios Theodoros all year round. Unfortunately there is no accommodation to spend the night. Nevertheless this should not be an obstacle for a visit to the village. The journey alone has a lot to offer. From Apliki until Agios Theodoros, and from there to Agios Ioannis Pitsilias and from there onwards going parallel to the Limnatis riverbed, after you pass by beautiful landscapes you will end up in Limassol.
