In Parekklisia, Limassol, there are two very beautiful Churches that have been built with a difference of a few centuries. The older one is dedicated to the Timios Stavros (Holy Cross) and the more contemporary one is dedicated to Archangel Michael.
The Church of the Archangel is built in Byzantine style and has a cruciform shape, it is imposing and is found in a central point of the village, where another, older one was in its place during the 17th century.
On its perimeter there is a monument dedicated to Father Ioannis Christoforou, who lead the erection of the new Church.
