Even though the village of Vikla was abandoned by its settlers and it is now ruined, but the manor it used to be, that extends to the south, thanks to the efforts of the people who wanted to develop the area, remains “alive” even if its usage has changed.
It no longer produces olives and grapes, nor wheat and barley. It has been transformed to a huge sports centre, a gold field. The “holes” are found in courts, others are covered in grass, and others on “dry” land, that are found in the areas of the sports centres with different altitudes.
It is a very demanding court that keeps the interest of the players stimulated, since in order to finish the game, they have to move to different level courts of a certain technical difficulty.
