The picnic area of Panagia Valana is found on the peak of the hill of Valana, north of the village of Lania. Between the two Churches dedicated to Panagia Valana, under the shade of the pine and cypress trees, there are a few picnic benches, a grill for food preparation, a tap with potable water and sanitaries.
A small park for children will keep the little humans busy, in a safe environment. The park was created based on the European standards for safe use by small children.
The location chosen for the creation of the picnic area is unique. It is on a plateau with a smooth and panoramic view such towards the deep valley in which Kourris runs, as to and from the mountain peaks of Troodos.
The place is quite small but beautiful for those who like seeing the world from above. Take a telescope with you since the view of the valley and the villages of the area that are scattered on the mountain peaks of Troodos will surprise you.
