Agios Dimitrianos’ chapel in Dali, is found on our journey from Dali towards Potamia. The area neighbours more with Potamia but its land belongs to Dali.
The Church is a 13th century construction, and in it there are well conserved murals which probably also date in the 13th century. It is small but it is also a very well built chapel, following a clearly Byzantine style and it belongs to the single aisle churches with a dome. The dome structure is such that it gives the impression of a cross.
Close to the chapel, excavations have been done with a few findings, therefore the area and the Church have been passed on to the Department of Antiquities. The door has been locked up and left in time.
