On the eastern side of the Skali amphitheatre in Aglantzia, in the cemetery, you shall see the church built in the name of Agios Georgios.
It is a 1797 construction and is found in the centre of the byzantine settlement of Aglantzia. It functioned as the main Church of the community until 1967, when the need for a bigger church gave a push to its erection, also dedicated to Agios Georgios.
In a distance of a hundred metres, the church of Panagia Theotokou Glikofilousas is also found.
