Korakou, is built on the two banks of Karkotis river, a river that flows in the summer too, and is dressed in green. It is surrounded by high mountain peaks and this is how it protects itself from the strong winds. This allows the village to have a good variety of crops.
A few streams descending from the surrounding mountains, divide the area to many, smaller parts, which in their totality, constitute a good place for fruit trees.
