The church of Potamia is dedicated to Timios Stavros (Holy Kalyve). It is built on a leveled small hill, on the west side of the village. It is a small Church and it has been built in the 18th century, in the place of another, smaller Church.
On the surroundings of the church there are tombs, which reveals that it used to be a cemetery too in the area. Architecture-wise it follows the Byzantine style with a corbel arch roof.
