In the green forest of Paphos, on the slope that dominates the valley of Agios Theodoros, a small chapel is found, dedicated to Timios Stavros. It is a basilica, with a wooden roof.
It is constantly open for worshippers.
A few hundreds of metres away the Forestry station of Stavros tis Psokas is found, as well as the picnic area with the same name.
The access to Stavros tis Psokas, from any direction you choose to come from, will be done through beautiful forests of Pine trees, cedar trees, Platanus trees, and many others.
If you choose to reach Stavros tis Psokas coming from the Monastery of Panagia tou Kykkou, it is a journey of about 26 kilometres, and you will have the opportunity to observe the deep valleys that are mostly covered in pine trees and the National tree of Cyprus, Latzia (golden oak).
After the chapel and the picnic area, the road passes through the valley of Agios Theodoros and it ends up in the village called Lysos.
